Default President of Baptist Health Care resigns

Why would the President of Baptist Hospital resign over an accidental drowning?

I thought the medical examiner's report was inconclusive, waiting for tox report.

Where is source of the resignation of President?

I hate to see a tragedy with fall out.

Prayers to the family and friends.

Interesting development Wes, again, I hate to see negative impact from a tragedy such as this.

Hope this event comes to a speedy end with satisfactory closure for all affected.

He was made to resign. The CFO, CEO, and two female Baptist employees were all on a boat drinking when this accident occurred. This is a black eye for the organization.

I think it'll be more than just drinking.

yeah, it seems strange that the two guys wouldn't be married and neither of the women shared their last name, sounds like some TV drama right there

Some of you need to check the accuracy of your info. The individual who resigned was a senior executive and not the president or CEO.

From PNJ.com:

"Baptist Health Care senior executive David Wildebrandt has resigned his post, two weeks after the death of Kerry Vermillion during an apparent swimming accident in Santa Rosa Sound.

Spokeswoman Candy McGuire said Wildebrandt submitted his letter of resignation yesterday to Mark Faulkner, BHC president and CEO."

Story is weird either way, I get it they searched for him for a bit..Before calling 911, then the CG sends a crew out into the gulf, becuase the info giving over the phone was'nt correct..So the guy takes the girl back to the dock, so she can leave.. Then goes back to the ""Site" to call 911 again and gave the correct info..
