$350 can probably get you quite a bit of advertisement on the radio that would go a lot further at drumming up business than the chamber is doing!

I can't speak for the Pensacola Chamber but the Santa Rosa Chamber is great. Like anything in life, you are only going to get out of it what you put in it. If you are just going to write a check for $350 and wait for business to come to you, it probably won't happen. On the other hand, if you pay the membership, go to events, network and get your face (and business) out there, you'll reap the benefits. People do business with people. Get involved, volunteer for one of there events or something. Have you called them and told them you are a chamber member and interested in working up a catering menu for their next event? Probably be a good thing to do. Don't be shy!

Also, do you have a web site or menu online?

The insurance agency that I am the Commercial Insurance Manager/Agent, FLORIDA INSURANCE AGENCY, www.flinsagency.com, is a member of the Pace Chamber and it has been very beneficial for us. We have made alot of contacts in the Pace area, and our homeowners policy numbers have grown. However, as said previously, we are very active.
