Default P90X

I am just wondering if any of you have done it? I ordered it for my birthday and should be getting it any day. I was pretty scheptical for a while and I had a couple buddies do it. They both lost 25 pounds and are in great shape and neither finished the whole 90 days.

Yeah I don't know if this is the right program for muscle building. I think maybe for weight loss and cardio it will do fine.

I did it for about 60 days...its hard the first week but it gets better after that...i stopped because (a.) i lost a few of the dvds and (b.) unless you follow the diet it won't really work....and beer wasn't on the diet list so i figured i would just stop. If you follow it and the diet guide and IMO do a little extra running it will probably work great

like most workout routines/diet, it depends alot on the person. If you are a bigger more athletic type of guy that has a high body fat % (over 12%), then p90x will work really well for you. If you are the 6'0" 185 dude who is naturally skinny, then I dont think you will see much results from the program. For the skinny guy, pure weights is probably more appropriate.

I do it. Just did the core synergistics workout this morning. I have gone through the whole workout portion of the program once already but it took me more than 90 days because of various things such as travel, fishing, soreness, etc. I am halfway through a second session of the workouts (classic). The diet lasted about 2 days for me. You have to be really dedicated to follow the diet and there are way too many eggs in there for my taste. I mean I like eggs but I am not eating 6 or 8 egg whites every day.

The program is geared towards people who are in decent shape already but want to tone up. Someone who is out of shape won't be able to keep up. Overall I like it. Out of the 12 workouts I like 8 out them don't like 3 and haven't done 1. The three I don't like are Yoga X (90 minutes is too long and I can't do some of the moves), Kempo X (punching and kicking air doesn't do it for me), StretchX (boring). I haven't done the cardio xever. The other 8 are good. I bought a free standing pullup bar / dip rack because Ididn't want to do pull ups in a doorway. Also I have bands anddumbells and the bands suck compared to real weights but I can travel with them.

I didn't lose or gain any weight really but I didn't really need to either. I have toned up a bit. Nothing like the before and after pics they use in the ads but I didn't diet like the program demands either.

I am really going to try and do this thing right I know alot of people say that at first but I used to be in great shape very active and athletic. Now I am 6'2" 215 not that I am extremely fat or out of shape but I have enough weight on me now I am starting to feel it. Hopefully I can push myself to change alot of things during the time one being I am going to stop dipping when I start the program.
