Anyone got 4 squares of dimensional shingles laying around? Preferably something in the brown family.

I have about 3/4 of a package of brown. No idea how that equates to squares, but they are yours if you want them. In Navarre. 582-9716

I think it takes 4 packages to make one square of dimensionals, and 3 packages to make one square of 3 tabs. If Im correct, then I would need 16 bundles of dimensional and 12 of 3 tab. Someone correct me if Im wrong. I appreciate the offer! |

3 bundles of dimensional still make a square if they are standard 30 year shingles, which most are. Its 40 or 50 year shingles that take more bundles to make a square, some of the super heavyweight shingles up to 6 bundles per square.

Possibly. My house roof is brown, so Im trying to stay near that. If I cant find something in the tan or brown family I might go that route... let me see what i can find |

I have some metal shingles with a granular coating in a medium gray color. It's commonly know as stone coated steel. If your trying to patch an area they wont work with asphalt but if it's a separate structure they will.

Unless it's a straight gable roof (up and over with no hips, valleys, dormers, etc.) I would not attempt the metal shingles yourself, unless youhave a real solid understanding of roofing and working with metal. If you go that route, get a pro, seachaser or somebody to do it.
