Hey Mike - I'm about 60 days out from RTB from NKC. My stuff got a MissionAssignment so I'll be in your AO a/o3 Apr. I'm having a hellofa time finding a decent place to wet a line up here. Kabul River has too many derelict Russian tanks and APC's not to mention human waste and body parts to properly present a bait. Perhaps that pond with the fountains on KAF has some brown trout? :sick How long is your tour?:mmmbeerStressless

Afternoon Bob, found a pretty good snapper hole over at the NATO compound but like the gulf, they are out of season

There are some fish in that pond over by the Brit hotel but I havent had time to see whats in there.

I will be here at least till June/July. With all the changes coming down the pipe it is hard to say if this RC will be home for the whole deployment.

Got'cha. I've seen some trolling action along the boardwalk and in front of the British MWR section as well as the NATO gym. But like you I can't even catch and release anymore...
