So I stay on the causeway.

My Wife and I stopped at Felix's on the causeway several years ago and enjoyed our meal. It was the first time I saw a restaurant serve the tables as a group where if a table of six was being served, six servers would bring out the food so that everyone at a table received their meal at one time. It was a nice touch that left a good impression..... Have threatened to go back many times...

After several years of driving past it, I finally stopped in at Felix's several years ago. I had to go, given the name, right?

Anyway, it's been good every time I've visited. Unfortunately, the name hasn't gotten me any special treatment or free meals.

But, for meals actually in the city, the above recommendations from others should suit you fine.

Hit Loda for some beers and snacks early afternoon. Very enjoyable place to sit outside and chill. Dumbwaiter for dinner was incredible. Thanks y'all!

Without a question

OSMANS

It's the best restaurant on the Gulf Coast from Slidell to Tallahassee

There is not a single thing about Mobile that I like except Osmans

If you like oysters, go to Bluegills and get the flaming oysters. I would get them as an appetizer as you probably wont want anything else. I eat them everytime I go. Very informal place.

X2 on the flaming oysters. Like said earlier, there are 3 places on the causeway that have great dining and atmosphere. You could even hit up battleship park before/after. Great afternoon
