Default Mobile restaurant recomendations

Wife and I are going to the Tedeschi Trucks Band concert this coming Friday, and it will be our first time spending some time in Mobile. Need some recommendations on where to eat. To give you an idea of what we like, some of our favorites in Pensacola are Global Grill, Union Public House, Dharma Blue, 5 Sisters, and Khans to name a few of the many we enjoy (we like to eat). Close proximity to the Saenger is a plus. TIA for any suggestions!

The Royal Scam, Dumbwaiter or Loda BierGarten.

Edit: Loda is literally next door to the Saenger Theatre, the rest are within walking distance.

I like some of the restaurants on the causeway like the Bluegill and the Original Oyster House. Not quite Global Grill but both sit on the water and have a nice atmosphere.

I also forgot there is Dauphin's atop of the Trustmark Building. More formal than the ones mentioned above.

Any of them would be good. If you want more formal, go Dauphins, if you want a little more casual, I'd go with Dumbwaiter out of the bunch. You really can't go wrong with any though.

Thanks for the recommendations, I'll let you know where we go. The menu at Dumbwaiter looks right up our alley.

Boudreaux's in daphne. My favorites are the bone in porkchop or the New Orleans pasta. Try the kickin' crawfish for the appetizer.

TP Crockmiers is a really good place and they have some awesome crab fingers; nostalgic kind of place...

Or, you won't forget the view from Dauphin's (34 floors I think)...very nice, upscale kind of place

Felix's on the Causeway is kick-ass (owned by the Ruths Chriss folks) . Bluegill is good too (same group). Ed's Shed on the Causeway is great for lunch.

So I stay on the causeway.

Grand Mariner on Dog River. Take Dauphin Island Parkway south from I-10 till you cross Dog River (high bridge by Yacht Club).

The Flounder Florentine is great and they have SAUTÉED crab claws as an appetizer. Not cheap but great and not fried to boot.
