Glad everything got sorted out. I avoided this post like the plague to keep my blood pressure from going through the roof that guy still needs his ass kicked. What kind of sick bastard steals money from a kid who really needs it?

Shiznik (2/18/2009)Thanks so much Ron for your help. I feel better now knowing that he didn't wind up winning in the scam he had done. Sorry about all the frustration guys, he was the one that asked me if I minded him trying to help raise money for Chandler and I reluctantly said of course. This forum has helped me in so many ways and I just want each and every one of you, well, except Joe right now, that we have really appreciated all the prayers and support. I bet he started weighing the difference in what court costs vs. keeping the money were, and he must have decided that he didn't want to be in jail for a while. All I can say is, Ron, you are a very smart guy and you could easily be for hire because you get the job done, till the end! Thanks, Chris

First and foremost my prayers go out for Chandler and your family. Now..I couldn't of done it without the help of a couple of forum members. When I got any lead I followed that lead till I hit a dead end. Being a A/C electronics installer while in college...everything from Cessna 150's to Lear Jet 24's to Puff The Magic Dragon (C-47's) I can hold my own talking about the electronics. Secondly being a pilot certainly didn't hurt, as you will find out, and an ex Air Traffic Controller, knowing and where to go for the A/C information. My best lead was from whoever noticed that the A/C was for sale on E-Bay....that was the killer. Being the fact that he wanted to sell the A/C (and me acting as a potiental buyer) he was an easy mark for me to get information out of and the fact that using my son that both lives and has a BE-35, in Brunswick,GA, was a help. So it wasn't just me, thank the other guys that had a hand in this...I couldn't of done it without their help.

One of my favorite things and a sense of enjoyment is scamming a scamer.

I know he will read this, as he most likely is wondering how we got the best of him...This, so reminds me of Shawshank Redemption (one of my favorites) and the fact that Norton wondered how Andy got the best of him. So now you know.

What a great ending !

kudos to all of you who gave to Chandler.
