Buckethead (10/14/2008)My parents didn't pay for anything, I attended school on scholarship. Bringing up the music program is important when you're a professional performing musician. What do you do? Mow lawns? Please explain how saying your team is going to lose makes me opinionated? I made a statement, I stand by it. LSU was exposed, you guys beat the hell out of them much like you did Ohio State and us last year. You're team is simply that much faster. Yes, your defense looked tough, but that was for one game, I still believe they have a long way to go. I stopped posting because arguing with a Gator fan is like talking to a wall, or a Republican, which I'm sure you all probably are. I give credit when its due, you guys dominated LSU, congratulations. I honestly can't stand LSU, and I'm glad they lost, but I will never cheer on UF. Even if you're playing Miami. At least their fans know football and know how to talk smack without immediately going to such classics as "Our school is better than yours..." In fact, I have never had a Canes fan say that to me, and Miami is a prestigious school than UF, argue that if you want. I can quote Tim Tebow as saying that UF is the best academic institution in the United States. That is by the the second most ridiculous statement I've ever heard a Gator make, first has to be by the all powerful Urban Meyer. He can be quoted as saying that Tim Tebow is the greatest collegiate athlete of our time. I'm sorry, Walter Dix won two bronze medals at the Olympics. Yes, Tim Tebow is a great college quarterback, but all he is merely a 250 pound battering ram. He has overthrown Percy Harvin at least ten times that I have seen in the two UF games I've watched. You guys have a louder better fan base, ours is full of morons who don't know dick about football and boo when one of our defensive players lights up a wideout well before the ball is there and gets flagged for interference, or an extremely late hit on a QB gets called. I get sick and tired of being told I'm too loud or vulgar at games by old people or alumni with kids. UF has twice the student section than we do, and I think its sad. Our program has been run into the ground by spoiled yuppies. But, you guys have your asshole fans as well... a lot of them. Just don't lump me in with the average FSU fan who blindly accepts Bobby Bowden as a deity and doesn't know dick about the game. I honestly accept the fact that Bowden needs to go ASAP. I apologize for the long winded rant, but certain things have to be said. I am proud to be a Seminole, just as I expect you to be proud to be a Gator fan. With that said, I'm out. You guys can continue talking smack, I'm not wasting my time with it. Go Noles.
just please, please tell me you don't play an instrument in which a Bass clef is involved .

We love you too!! By the way, thanks for beating Boston College last year to keep LSU in the running for the BCS. Not sure why all of the hate since LSU is in adifferent conference, but thanks again.I hope the best for the rest of FSU's season. take care.

I used to like LSU until I had a Cajun piece of garbage roommate that bailed out on his lease and ended up costing me thousands of dollars. Big LSU fan to boot, made me kinda root against them. Other than that, I have no gripes with em.

Actually I study classical guitar, and FSU is the number one public university for classical guitar and is world renowned for my professor Bruce Holzman. We produce some of the best guitarists in the world, its not like I waltzed into the program. I hate band geeks as far as that bass clef comment goes.

That is because they can get public funding and private schools have a much harder time receiving public funding!
