Dave,

here's a gotta at least try it, and I bet you'll be astounded! The link is www.dancinggoats.com. and when you get the number, call them and ask for samples and tell them you are "very" interested. The whole bean I recommend is their Holiday blend and ask for the Costa Rican one as well. They date the time of roast and also what the ship date is to you. They keep so many beans that when they get an order, they then roast it, seal it, and it comes to you ready to be one of the best cups of coffee you'll ever try. I can offer this forum a few things, but this is def. a great coffee tip! You guys will love it!

OK Ron...so not a monkey. But a type of cat...eats the coffe beans off hte tree or as they fall...then craps them out, and someone goes around with a pooper scooper and a doggie bag...and gets them. Is that the ones?

I don't care if its a monkey or a cat or Obama himself...something/someone is eating them and crapping them out and you make a hot cup of steamy java out of it.

I actually saw a special on the civet-crap coffee the other day. Apparently what makes them so great is the civet eats them immediately after they fall and are therefore perfectly ripe. Humans collect ripe and unripe beans off the plant. Then as the pass (not digested) it further "mellows" the flavor.

I ate some corn yesterday.

Wonder how "mellow" it is now.

Special today. Instead of $119 per pound...$10 will get you a ziplock baggie full.
