Its not only finding some that is reasonable. I've been with Allstate for 22 years and got a letter in the mail that they were dropping damage by windstorm or hail. I have talked to a few more and they also say that they are not carrying wind or hail damage coverage. Good Luck. Please post it if you find some.

Hey, Welcome to Lillian. I live here also. Last year I got a notice from Farmers they were no longer covering wind/hail. Almost everyone over here seems to bo going w/ AIUA(beach pool). Mine went from 1800 to 3800 this year. If you find something pls let me know, I'm still looking.

Well Key Insurance no longer writes claims in Bama, but im still in the hunt.

The house i bought is a 2005 3/2 1500sq all electric,no carport, framed with hardy board, the quotes im getting are between 2800-3800. The house appraised for 114,000(a year ago)but i stole it for 70,000. True story hard to believe. I didnt even think it work but listening to my dad finally payed off.

The quotes cover wind, and fire, are these reasonable??????

I use Cotton States up here in Tuscaloosa. I don't know if they write policies near the gulf, but if they do, they are worth a look. I have been pleased with my service (one claim and check was in the mail the same week).

Here in foley I pay just under $1200/yr, 1850 sqftbuilt in 05. We have State Farm but I'm not sure if there writing anymore policies.

Try Whitehaven in gulf shores.
