almost like the " Perfect Storm" looks like he was too close to shore and had to jump it to get out..

Same weekend as Mavericks surfing competition 20 miles down the coast. Probably coming back. Real shallow along the beach there. I question the 30foot wave though..... Dude is lucky, probably hurt a few folks onboard.

Yep , NOT even close to a 30 ft. Wave ... Ocean Beach , San Francisco is the break almost under the bridge , cool viewpoint there

youtube has posted it. that was awesome, except I bet his underwear turned a little dark when he realized he shouldnt have gunned it up that wave.

Been there done that. SCARY (and fun) as HELL. Def not 30 ft! I dropped the adrenaline almost square on her stern, all three went under water when I tried it. He did time it perfect though.

To explain. We were out on a "play day" with HUGE ground swells, no customers and I could not resist. I will never do it again!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Zero damage to the vessel, but I was not expecting the unbelievable air or being almost vertical in the air. STUPID, I know, but you only live once.
