The golf course right on base at front gate.
If during the week for lunch time. But there are stairs to climb.
Good food for the prices and various lunch specials, buffet style but not all-u-can eat.
Mexican, go west on Barrancas/Gulf Beach Highway a couple of miles to The Cactus Flower for excellent Cali-Mex all fresh made including the tortillas.
Or always an eclectic experience for lunch is the Hip Pocket Deli on Barrancas.
Or go further east on Barrancas to The Oar House for a decent seafood place.

Sam's Seafood would give you some good choices. Steaks, burgers, and seafood are all good.

If you're gonna drive to Sams(which is a awesome place!) you might as well go a few more blocks down to 5 Sisters! It's real deal southern food and they know how to cook it up! Sometimes the service can be a little bit slow but looks like you're looking for a place to have a good conversation and spend some time together. Great place and great food!

The little resturant inside the Air Musuem on base is a nice little place to eat if there from out of town. the menu is limited, but there should be lots to talk about. I think there is handicap parking along side the sidewalk next to resturant......just a thought

I was gonna say the Cactus Flower also. I got to check out the 5 sisters to see if it is REAL southern food. Hadn't had it in a long time, unless I cook it.
