Gonnamissher (9/5/2008)I have a problem with a broadbased, all encompassing statement such as every 17 year old girl that gets pregnant is trailer park trash. Calling McCain, Palin, Obama, Hilary, etc names goes with the territory and they accept that. Telling a 17 year old that she is no longer worthy because of a moment of indiscretion crosses the line of common decency and YES a retraction is not only warranted, but if if was one of my Daughters being singled out, I would be greatly offended by such an accusation.

OK. I agree. I used the term Trailer Trash indiscriminately. I personally have friends who've gotten pregnant young and kept the kid. Truth be told, they've done well and overcome and I'd say they're inspirational despite their transgressions against reason. That said, none of them would suggest repeating their mistakes. So take it for what it was intended and that was a jab at a kid being paraded as a political ornament by a woman seeking office.

And, most importantly, enjoy the hypocrisy and dark humor that is a woman who advocates abstinence only education as a Governor showing up as a VP candidate with here pregnant 17 yr old.

Anyway, I apologize to all the good people living in trailers throughout the world.

daddytime (9/5/2008)If she got an abortion she would be an articulate, progressive, modern woman. And if you called her a baby killer or murderer, the guys defending the "trailer park trash" would be having a cow.

No, that's where you're wrong. If she had the abortion and nobody knew, nobody would be saying anything. But, if she had the abortion and I found out and she was the same person with the same mom, I'd be pointing it out in a different way. But, I'd be calling her an irresponsible little shit who got pregnant and then didn't have the fortitude to see it through. You see, pregnant teens are a problem no matter who's they are or whether they get abortions or not. I guess that's what you guys are failing to see in your black and white world.

Hal and the rest wouldn't be calling them trailer park or anything else.

Wrong. I might not call them trailer park, but one of Biden's sons has legal issues right now. Daddy raised him and since Daddy has put himself out as a picture or morality, I will rag his butt when appropriate. I'm sorry you have such a low opinion of me. Honestly, I thought you'd realize I will call out hypocrisy or stupidity wherever I see it. And, my friend, that includes my own.

Thats it, reach back to ancient history. That's what wives like to do when they are losing an arguement. Can't keep it on today's subject?

But if you can't, for the record, your not going to find a post by me attacking or calling either one of them a name. Now when it comes to thier parents, I guarantee I beat them up some. But thats the whole point.

Dude, you're missing the funny part. The punch line is that she's pregnant and her mom supported abstinence only as an educational policy. There's hypocrisy and irony there.

First, ANY teen pregnancy is bad, I don't support teen pregnancy one bit (my youngest son has one child due to a teen pregnancy, it is a fact of life going back how far? But to say that Sara Palin is a hypocrite or myself for that matter(on this at least) you got to be kidding:doh. I don't see it, her daughter maybe, but not Sara, ...now being ironic...now I can see the irony of what was expected and what had actually transpired.
