Default dual control or rhd Jeep or similar WTB

Unfortunately Precious totalled her postal vehicle monday and was just checking if anyone knows where one might be for sale. I have found one in Oceola Arkansas but was lookinng to see if one might be available closer to home. Both her and Alex are fine but now I need to get her back to work. I am not looking for the old mail jeeps but something along the line of a right hand drive jeep or similar or with dual controls.

Sam, Glad there both okay. There is several postal jeep sites on the internet. I've had to buy parts for my wivesCherokee from a couple of them. There is also one site that sells conversion kits that work pretty well. Good Luck, once they get used to a right hand drive they don't want anything else.

Yeah we had a Cherokee Sport with 300,000 miles and it got totalled by someone passing and hit her head on and the last one was a Suzuki Vitara and a woman rammed her in the rear quarter as she was crossing a hiway. The one in Arkansas is from Morgandualcontrols so unless something else jumps up we will go pick it up this weekend.

<SPAN id=_ctl1_ctlTopic_ctlPanelBar_ctlTopicsRepeater__c tl4_lblFullMessage>Sam,

Glad they are alright. Start checking on www.govdeals.com , i've seen a few on there from time to time. The website is for city , county, state and some federal property. You never know what all you will find on there, but I have seen RHD Jeep Wranglers and Cherokee's on there before.

Good Luck

I just went and looked, there is one RHD Wrangler listed right now. I don't know how much you want to spend on one, but here is the link. http://www.govdeals.com/eas/itmDispl...mp;acctID=1623

Thanks man but she doesnt like the Wranglers and the main problem with factory RHD is parts are hard to find and expensive. I personnally like the wrangler for the heigth but she also needs something for room. Her route is a rural one with 62 miles and 700 boxes so I guess we are going to Arkansas for a 2001 Cherokee Sport with dual controls:banghead

Well we drove to Osceola, Arkansas this weekend and got her a new one so I could put her back to work. Ended up with a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with 52000 miles and a brand new dual control system

so for now she is back on the route and off of my back.
