Default coyote sighting in Pensacola

Left Sacred Heart Hospital just after midnight. Traveling south on 9th ave., just past Publix, two healthy Coyotes crossed the road at Carpenters creek. My Son asked if they were Wolfs.
I assume they are traveling the creek bed and eating out of dumpsters from Publix and the Target shopping center areas. I here them all the time on the North end, but was surprised to see them in the heart of town. Guess they are everywhere.

I've seen them behind Olive Baptist before, and I see them almost nightly at the CSX yard between fairfield and brent lane. There are at least 4 adults, and a gray fox. Right in the middle of town. They have lots of mice and things to eat that eat the grains and stuff from around the tracks I guess.

Wirelessly posted (Not the droid youre lookin for)

Pensacola airport is full of them. Plenty of neighborhood cats roaming around to hunt. If there is a vacant lot around ....rest assured a coyote has visited it

There are allot of coyotes in Pensacola. Years ago, they were imported by the airport, to keep flocks of birds off the runway.

Once, one got locked in a warehouse for a three day weekend. Tore that place up, pulled all insualtion of the interior of the metal building. Pulled everything off all shelvies and tore them up. Busted many plumbing pipes. Water was spraying everywhere.

Casued major damage to the office supply business. Unfortunalty, most commercial insurance polices do not cover damage by animals, as was the case in this event.

The was behind McGuiries.

They captured it and relocated it up north county.

They are everywhere now, and a lot of them are diseased.

I saw one at Jones Creek.

It was waiting on traffic to cross Fairfield Drive. C2

"lost cat" signs = we fed a coyote(or fox)

can't really blame them, they are just looking for places to do what they do

They are all over the west side. I live off 98 between Dog Track and Bauer, and see them in me back yard often.

I have heard them multiple times at night on UWF. One night I actually heard a pack of them chase, corner, and kill a dog.
