Default Black, Chocolate or Yellow lab ?

It's been 4 years since we had to put our yellow lab down. He was a good one !

smarter than alot of people, had a big block head, weighed around 100 lbs, He was an all around perfect dog. I got him when he was 1 yr old with the papers in a distress sale for $100.00. a ton of people told me what a mistake we made by nutering such a beautiful lab

Every since I met Warthogs chocolate lab last winter I been thinking about getting anoter labpup

against my wifes wishes ( she has a pug and she's worried the pug will not like a new puppy)

If I get another one I don't want a small frame pointy nose looking lab, I want the big frame and the big box head, and the proven smart bloodline. but don't know what color

Anyone want to share info on proven breeders and if you prefer Black, Chocolate or Yellow ?

No "Jack" is still not For Sale.

You know I partial to Chocolate's. I've had Chocolate's since before they were ever popular. My brother now has a Yellow for the kids.

Chip's & Tootsi Gone to Doggy Heaven now.

Jack @ 4 weeks old with his Daddy.

Jack @ 15 weeks old. [weighed 16lbs]

Big dogs are not allowed on the furniture. They take up to much room. It will be much harder to get that thru a new puppies head if the Pug is allowed on the furniture, and I'm sure it is. :doh

I have a yellow lab(Scout) and a chocolate female(Missy) and both are great. The female is just a pup but my male is a little over 100 lbs.I wish I had not had him fixed cause I would like to breed the two.Any color I dont think you can go wrong.

You need to look at british lab's. They are more temperant (sp?) than an American Lab. They are also shorter and more stockier breed than the American lab. Any color. A Lab is a Lab and I love all of them.

I've had all colors , and you really can't go wrong with a Lab ... any color you choose , you'll be happy with ... I just like how the Black Labs look when they're clean , just SO shiny :letsparty

A raw egg a week helps with that. Then you can call them a "Egg Sucking Dog." HeHe

I've always heard that black labs are most intelligent, then yellow, and then chocolate.I don't know if there is any truth to this or not. Either way you can't go wrong, all labs are awesome dogs. I'm partial to yellow.

I don't think the color matters!

I have a two year old chocolate block head with papers. I have been trying to find a good home for without running an add or putting her on craigslist. She is very loving but pushy we have other smaller dogs and she don't like anyone playing with or holding them. She also gets on the furniture and in beds. Our house is always full of people and she loves everyone. This is what causes the problems She jumps up on people so she is the first to get petted and it takes 5 min. for her to calm down. Our yard is also smaller than what she needs. I really would love someone like on this post to give her more of a life. If anyone would like to meet her please call 244-3036 Penni or Eric
