Default Big Green Egg last night!

cut up some pork loin and added some potatos and carrots. cream of onion, cream of celery, and a can of beef something. (i don't remember what it was called). put it on the egg at 375 for 1.5 hours. it turned out great and was very easy to do.

i forgot to add that i cooked the first 30 min. uncovered to get the flavor of the grill into it. i then covered with foil for an hour. the smoke taste was perfect!

i think it is called choice deck. if i had to do it over i would go with the smooth polymer boards so it is easier to clean. i had the "choice deck" boards left over so i used what i had. the newer generation of polymer boards are nicer.

I did a pork loin on the egg last evening as well. Roll cut it then covered it with cream cheese,10 strips of bacon, asperagus spears, sliced cherry tomatoes and some carmalized peppers onions and galic. rolled it and tied it set it up on the plate setter for 3 hours. served it with a sweet mustard sauce. Dang thing was naughty good!
