Default Bass Pro Shop

The goal date for the Grand Opening is 15 Aug, everything is on track at this time, actually a little ahead, barring an H word, we will be setting up our wish list soon.

I got a card in the mail, stating they would open in August and they would be having a job fair next month, I believe. I tried to convince the wife to quit her job and go to work at the new BPS, so I could get the employee discount.

She said no. :banghead

cause you can spend hours there looking at the stuff they decorate with. Not to mention the gear they sell.

I love going to a REAL Bass Pro shop (not that crap in destin). It is like taking a kid to disney. Anytime I pass thru Atlanta I always stop at that one JUST to walk around. As mentioned, the decorations/mounts are great. Plus I just enjoy walking around and looking at all the tackle. I guess it is the same reason that most of usthat go to any store that sells tackle has to walk up and down ALL the aisles looking at ALL the tackle/lures 6 times and then we have to go past the rods and pick up a dozen different rods to look at before we can leave. Also they usually have a daily sales special bin that is worth looking thru to spend a lil pocket change on. At least that is how it is for me:letsdrink

One of the reasons i choose to shop at BassPro Shop is because I can buy online and its delivered right to my door.

Saves gas time and money. Second is there prices and deals.

The local stores dont have to worry they will still get business from there diehard fans.

But for the the last 2 years i have asked if Outcast was going to get there web site up so i could shop online and i am still waiting for a reply.

I can email BPS and get an answer in 2 minutes. Go figure.

The one on Prattville/Montgomery opened last fall and I go there AT LEAST once a week. I still havent seen it all.

I was at Preferred Customer promo the other night and they anounced that the SF store would open on Aug 15 and Leeds (B'ham) on Nov 28.

I'll be going to both.... NOT on opening day!:doh
