Auburn/Alabama Party my house whole forum invited!

Ok guys Saturday Nov. 29 12 noon until...

Football party at my house 1465 W. Fairway Dr. Gulf Shores, Al 36542. The whole forum is invited. To clarify I am a rabid Auburn Fan so this will not be a Alabama only party. BYOB and a dish. I am making all sorts of other stuff! There will be cards so bring a bank...don't hesitate to bring loose change as I like looking thru it for old coins! There will be a chimenea so some folks can bring some extra wood! I have made a rather bold bet with daryl Wheatley of Hooked Up Magazine so you guys can come and see who pays up!

Anyway kickoff is at 2:30. This should be a blast...Hell I think even Murph is back from his sea voyage!

Woody, The only lseeon I learned from you playing is that you are a guaranteed pot builder....meaning your good for building the pot usually about 3 times what it starts with!

Mighty nice of you but I don't know how you do it. I'll be sitting on my couch by my self. My wife and dog won't even want to be around me. It's not as bad if I'm at the game but if I'm watching AU/UA on TV, it's usually best if I am alone. Man I hate this game.It's notabout winning it, it's about not losing it! Have one for me. :letsdrink

Fizzy, I am relieved to hear someone else admit how badly they behave while watching the Iron Bowl! I tend to get animated and create new words , screaming at the t/v set..... now I feel kinda silly admitting it!

Obviously, I am no Auburn fan, but I know this will be a slobberknocker, regardless of the rankings!!

I am by no means saying we're going to lose, I think we have a shot, I just hate this game every yearand the whole day leading up to it. Beating Alabama doesn't matter but losing to them is miserable!! Ya know what I mean?

Like last week against UGA. I love that game, not a more enjoyable time than the UGA vs. AU game. Iron Bowl is just different.

I know what you mean Jayer, I am the same way with the FSU vs UF game. Back when I delivered pizza's I would sometimes get stuck working during the game. On several occasions I would have to pull over to listen to the game because I couldn't watch the road and listen during the exciting parts.
