Default 2012 Raptor pics

This mild winter must be a boon for the Raptors in our area. I've seen a lot more than usual so far this year.

Hootie the Great Horned Owl is the one building a nest here, I was hoping it would be the Bald Eagle but no such luck but then how many people get to have a nest like that in their yard. It is cool.

I've seen a ton more than usual as well.

The hawks on our lease in Holt are eating well, I can tell you that.

Been seeing a lot of fish hawks and last week saw my first eagle of some sort in one of the areas I fish in. The fish hawks have been increasing each year that I fish there.
