Just curious - What do you do to blow off steam when you don't catch anything for the day?

Enjoy the day on the water and go home and spend the time that you would have spent cleaning fish.......DRINKING A FEW COLD BREWS!!

I dont understand, you mean you have days were you didnt catch a single fish?
Just kidding man, unfortunately I know too well about days like that. For me, just being a couple miles offshore bobbing around in my kayak with no one in sight is worth it in itself. Its very relaxing to me. There are times when I think that I could just lay down, take a nap and let the wind and water take me where ever they want me to go and that would be ok. |

To me the the fishing part is blowing off steam, catching something is just a bonus.

I look for squirrels to run over and then head to Joe Patti's. Not really. Hav't fished since last spring. Looking forward to fishing this fall down by Cape SanBlas.

I roll off the boat. Head 100 ft down and shoot one in the head!
If that don't work, I kill some beers and enjoy the cruise.

I listen to Journey and drink beer. My rule on the boat is beer cant be opened until we catch fish or 10:00 am. Which ever comes first.
