I have seen some real stupid stuff already this summer. Its just not worth it guys. This weekend is shaping up to be a real boat killer. Go to tensaw and fish for catfish or something, I might just join ya. I really hate being on a 40 foot boat getting my ass kicked and having to be up on the wheel and doing 7 knots for safety and see a 23 footer come by with 2 dads and 3 kids riding up front, with no care in the world. Trust me if you dont respect the gulf, it WILL bite you in the ass.

Either staying home or doing some river fishing. Don't know yet.

7' to 9' holy crap. I'll have the whole Gulf to myself. NOT! I can't believe any private boater would risk himself, guest and equipment for fish. I guess I'll go buy some tackle, that's the next best thing.

Tod... that sounds like a good idea.. if we cant be on the water, we might as well either find new lures or stay on Youtube.. LOL..

I will be a single guy for the next 10 days starting Sat., family going to my inlaws, I was planning to do more fishing instead... I HATE THIS WEATHER. But, it is also a good time to make leaders and sinkers in preparation for nice weather later.
