April's little boy is 4. He loves fish and anything to do with fishing. He loves to learn about them and can name most of them.

She goes to pic him up from his daycare yesterday and she comes out very disappointed. I asked her, "What did he do now?" She said, "His teacher said he call another kid a 'poopoo head' but used a bad word for it." I said, "Are you sure that's what he said?" "That's what his teacher said he did." she replied. I decided to ask him,"Parker, did you call a kid a bad name today?" He said, "No but I got in trouble cause I was telling my friend you caught a Sheephead." Now he is only 4 and some words dont come out right and when he says 'sheephead' it does sound like 'shithead'. But he spent some time in the corner at class for that. April is haveing a talk with the teacher to explain the confussion.

I just thought I would share this experiance since we got a good laugh out of it.

My little man is only 23 months and hasn't quite learned to pronounce "r"s yet. Having said that, imagine how it sounds when he sees a frog (for comes out almost as a "c") and says it, or when he wears his crocs and tells you about it. Those are just two that come to mind right this moment.



In short, don't feel lonely, we have had a few of those conversations with our childcare provider as well.



I learn new things almost daily and wouldn't give it up for any amount of money!!!

A buddy of mine got in trouble as kid for calling his teacher a whore. When his mom got to school and asked him where he learned that word he explained that it was from TV like Dracula and Frankenstien, he meantHorror! ha ha ha.

Don't feel bad, you're not alone by any means. When our son was in kindergarden, he was sent to the principal's office for shooting the teacher "the bird". When I asked what he was doing with his middle finger, he said "I was just getting a buger out because my nose was ooey". Trust me, there was a parent/teachers conference over that one.

Oh my GOD! Call James Sockolof or Ronnie Deutch and sue their pants off! That poor child has been tortured and traumatized. Unlawful imprisonment!

That really is a funny story. I still misunderstand my 6 year old occasionally.
