Dr. Pam Dana as well as Rep. Steve Southerland, have been corresponding with Dr. Roy Crabtree concerning the lost fishing days in our 40-day season, hoping to compel him to extend the 40 day period beyond July 10th to compensate for the losses. They need the following information-
For private anglers- -How many days would you have gone fishing if the weather had been good enough? -What are your estimated costs for your fishing trips? For charter and headboats- -How many days have you lost to bad weather in the 40-day red snapper season to date? -What is the capacity of your boat and would you have been at capacity on the days you missed? -What are your estimated monetary losses? For tackle and bait store and seafood markets- -Can you estimate what your monetary losses have been due to the bad weather since June 1st? Dr. Pam Dana Gulf Council Member for FL- pamdana@yahoo.com Please copy Steve Southerland's office with your information at melissa.thompson@mail.house.gov From Dr. Pam Dana... I need an estimate of what private rec guys are down in terms of going out. How about what your bait and tackle shops are saying, experiencing ? Also, are most of your charter boats booked everyday ? I heard that Panama City, Pensacola, and Orange Beach were down in bookings. True ? We are very busy in Destin. Lagoon Drive Panama City Beach, FL 32408 'Where the fish are always biting and the kids are always smiling' Let's give Pam some info. She's on our side... just report what you've not been able to do due to weather. Enough ants and we can move this elephant. OK? Capt. Jim www.aquaventurecharters.com |

noaa does not good one good da## about us catching snapper, they want everyone to quit fishing, like they did in Glousaster the ist year of catch shares, 86% of boats went out buisness the ist year. Its in their rule book to do things to knock down # of boats. In the hull truth forum they asked about this, we were told weather is already factored in. think about it, triggers, aj,s snapper, and poposed catch shares for kings. they are happy we arent and cant fish, its their agenda.GANDY GIRL GOT INTO GIVING US TURKEY SANDWICHS EVEN THOUGH WE WANTED HAM

Yes, they are very proud of me and the great thing about parents is they love me unconditionally...thanks for bringing them into the conversation! It still doesn't change my feelings about Fairwater's agenda and his relationship with Mr. CrabApple.

Oh come on Fairwater, show everybody your threat to me! What, you want me to come meet you at the gravel parking lot behind Zeke's at 6:30AM or 12:30PM?? Is that what it was?? Now what are your clients gonna think when they see their captain beating somebody up before they get on his boat!! Trust me, I've got better things to do than come find you in Orange Beach so I can say it to your face...it's much, much easier to say it here.
