Default Stolen Boat trailer

On 3/4/2011 at about 5 AM some one in a white pickup truck stole a custom made aluminum "Gold Coast" trailer for a Shamrock 22-26 foot Keel Drive inboard powered boat from a vacant lot on La Paz Street. We do have a video of the truck and the Sheriff will be looking at that in the AM. The truck came in on San Sebastian and left on La Paz probably headed East on Lillian Highway.

One of our concerns is that the trailer was stolen for the aluminum and parts, since this is an unusual boat trailer for a keel type of inboard boat.

Anyone who has information on this trailer, please contact me by PM. This belonged to a neighbor.

Last night the burgler who we think stole the boat trailer off La Paz Street attempted to break into a house. The Sheriff's office caught him as he fled, and we have video ID of his truck during both offenses. This guy has about 19 misdomeanor and felony charges in the past! He currently is in Escambia Co Jail on $40,000 bond on four felony counts.

We have not found the trailer, but think that this guy fequents the Navy Point area. If you know anything about the trailer, call Crime Stoppers at
433 STOP. There is a reward for recovary of the trailer--and perhaps for any other crimes. This guy drives an older White Dodge Pickup--with a bad (loud) muffler. Any information would be appreciated.
