Monthly expenses aren't too bad, but be prepared to spend some money on advertising to make it worth while... I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have if you want to give me a call (916.7176).

To start up right and break into an already flooded market in this area you need to spend7 to 10 thousandright off the bat.

As far as monthly bills...you don't really have monthly bills. You only run chartersconsistantlyabout 4 months out of the year.

As a new business you will have to pay around 1000 bucks for insurance andabout 2 thousand getting your captains license.

it all depends on how much your insurance is, how many trips you run(fuel, oil, and other boat maintaince, etc...) it will vary from month to month

Your not going tohave that boat and brake even for you and your cousin. Like Brant said the inshore guides are becoming a dime a dozen with the ways new offshore regs are. You will have way to much over head to get in it and setup right.

Lot of negative here. I wouldnt think it would be 7 to 10 thousand to start it up, Maybe if you are buying a boat also. It takes money to make money. Talk with Chris he knows just about everything you need to know about it. He was/is very successful at what he does and has alot of great information he isnt scared to share. Alot of charter guys will tell you this and that so you wont be motivated to do it. You start running charters thats less charters for them. WORD OF MOUTH is a big thing and advertisment.
