Anyone know anybody in the area that keeps these in stock and has a good price on them? Most of the auto places that say they are vendors on the optima site don't keep them in stock.

I get mine from Advance Auto Parts here in Navarre. Go talk to Matt or Mason and tell them Daryl sent you. One thing to remember with the optima's is that the yellow and blue top batteries are exactly the same other than the battery post locations. Also depending on your intended use you may want to look into Northstar batteries. They cost a little more but you can get them much more powerful and they are AGM batteries also. Reserve capacity on their 27 is 190 compared to 140 on the optima. If you choose those, Northstar, go see Will at Navarre auto repair 1942 Hwy 87 and tell him I sent you and he will hook you up.
