Default No shark fishing from Walton County beaches

New Walton County ordinance over here, 2/7/17, on beach use. I have never heard of much shark fishing on the beach, but this rule seems to prohibit doing so now.

You left out the OR... to me that means two separate things. Fishing for sharks .. OR.. chumming.... If you're chumming it doesn't necessarily mean that your fishing for shark...

Yep, they get everybody with the "or". Intentionally fish for sharks OR... BS rule, how many shark attacks can they prove were the result of someone fishing for sharks??

Due to the 'or' I read it as you can't fish for sharks even with conventional tackle....rod/reel/hook, but I will check with county Legal Dept tomorrow for clarification. Will post what they say.

I Actually read the regulation... and fishwalton reads it correctly as far as I can tell.

I thought this was old news? Maybe it's finally just written down?
