Default Marine fuel

So today on the way to the beach we stopped off at the first store in gulf breeze by Mcdonalds to get some diesel for my truck and they dont have it anymore. In its place now is a fuel called Marine fuel. The owner said its for boats but people do put it in there gasoline engines. Sorry to come off stupid, just never seen that before.

Do you happen to remember how much it was selling per gallon?

Like the previous poster said, that's fuel with no ethanol. Would also be interested in knowing the price like MaxP was.

Seemed pretty reasonable last time I was there, but that was before gas prices dropped.

J&M in Orange Beach practically rapes you on "marine" gas, it's more than diesel.

Same inflated price here in Milton. More than diesel.

There is a marina in baldwin county that also has a gas station in front of it pulling from the same tanks as the marina pumps. The gas on the street side is 20-25 cents over ethanol gas and the marina side is standard inflated marina priced fuel. If they charged what J&M and other gas stations do for there car gas pumps, they would never sell a gallon. Marine gas is yet another scam to ripoff the consumer. Yay!!!

I use marine Stabill with every fillup no matter what type. Use ethanol blends all the time. Never a problem but I do add the Stabill religiously.
