i vote yes for boater safety coarse with incressing requirements for larger vessels, so some land lubber cant operate a50 footer without some good training and some experence under his belt

I'm very boarderline with this. I do think alot of folks have no clue while boating. But inthe same, they issue drivers licto folks that have no clue.

Just my opinion.

<P align=left>NOAA may exempt anglers from registration if they already have a state-issued saltwater fishing license or registration, and the state provides sufficiently complete information to place in the national registry. In certain instances, anglers in states participating in regional surveys of marine recreational fishing may also be exempted. The new rule allows states to apply for exemptions.

States on the West Coast (including Alaska), the Gulf Coast, and the South Atlantic offer saltwater fishing licenses. Hawaii and the states from New Jersey to Maine do not.

Alabama Boating Course...by Perdido Bay Power Squadron...saturday July 12 - at ColemanOutlet Foley . 0800-1600...$50.00 with lunch &amp; books...multiple family add $8.00 for lunch only (share books). LIMIT 20 PEOPLE...CALL 251.980.1536 FOR INFO. next course is 9 Aug. Note: unlawful for person under 12 to operate a motorized boat, sailboat or personal watercraft in Al waters...........Al. law mandates every operator of moorized vessel, sailboat or personal watercraft must have a license. sorry late posting ... i say go for it....after 4+ dollars a gallon forfuel, increased license cost, increased registration fees, i might have enough money left over for a boaters safety course
