Should've used ceiling joist from pilon to pilon to tie it together, and closed in the gables. With that much pilon out of water there's too much flex, also good to remember when building pole barns. That sucks for the boat owner, I'm guessing they wanted a little extra room for a crows nest or something. I know that dock holds some decent flounder in the summer.
