Lots of Fun

Just thought I would share the day.....Ok picture this....Me a mom of two boys, 10 and 12...two of their friends, 8 and 10.....5 poles, a whole lot of wind, and lines cast all over the place....I was forced to take them fishing today because of an overdue promise (I tried to explain it was too windy) and it was just me and 4 boys out by 3 mile......it was so windy and they were casting all over the place because of the wind blowing back their lines....today was not such a good day for them.....We had 5 poles, a whole lot of wind, a whole lot of tangled line, and a whole lot of wasted effort.....AND NOT A SINGLE FISH....But, we had a BLAST....I couldn't have asked for a better afternoon with the kids....But, I wish we coulda caught something. I Love My Boys, They Are The Greatest!!!!

We all have trips like that, glad everyone had fun, thats what it's all about!

bad day at fishing is better than a good day at work!!!... in their case, school!!!

Well, they did go to school, took them straight from the bus stops.

Thanks guys for that.....I really try hard for my boys....and it really makes me feel good to know that my kids know they have the coolest mom ever cause all their friends wanna come hang out with us and have a blast having a no fish fishing trip.

It's not hard to be a good Mom to all of them, even the ones that aren't mine, the kids are worth it and they all make it worthwhile!!!!!!

Great job! There was a lot of bonding going on that day I bet. Just think, now one day will be in the near future when it won't be windy, and they will be coming to you to take them back out, and I bet you guys really get into them when you guys go! I can remember many trips just like that with the kids. It was still a blast! Way to go!
