Im just wondering how Im supposed to work this lure? Do you just reel it in with no rod action? I love the way it loooks in the water but it tries to dive down so hard it almost feels like im fighting a fish.

Troll it! 3-7 mph
I guess you can cast it too but you will need a ton of drag on it to get it to work like its supposed to. Good luck!!! |

Sadly I only pier fish. I have a pretty sturdy reel, I was just wondering if its supposed to dive down, or stay on the surface. It has some really nice looking wiggling action, it just dives like a bitch.

That's what it's designed to do: dive deep. I wouldn't think it would be a good casting lure.

looks like a stretch 25....gonna need a lotta arm to dive this one...
or u can run from the second sand bar (with an outrigger) all the way around the pier and back till you get 4mph...or so... lol...jkng man... ...Get a yozuri 3d from Broxson (6") you ll love that one.. (i think this one dives only 2...3ft at the most)... |

cast that thing as far as you can let it dive then let it float up or suspend for a few seconds use different rod movement till you find out what fish like.kind of like a diving darting action is what your looking for

I didnt realize it was for deep diving when I got it, so am I better off with something shallow diving like this?

Good luck chunking and winding that bad boy. Yes the other one would be more suited for what you're looking for. The longer the bill on a crank the deeper it dives.

Yeah, the first one looks like a Stretch 15. Meant for trolling slowly.
Works GREAT!!! I really would hesitate to use that big lipped lure behind a kayak. The one you show in your last post shows is a casting lure. Jim
