Default Has anyone ever?

Has anyone ever caught a AJ or any other kind of fish that had a butterfly or diamond jig still in its mouth, other than your own? I know I've had 7 or 8 broke off in my past few trips.

No, never have. I always wondered about hooks in kings, I know a whole bunch is swimming around with lip rings!

I caught an AJ about 4 years ago that had what I thought at first was an odd growth but turned out to be a stripped down cobia jig (no hair or feathers) with a 2oz bank sinker electrical-taped to it with a lays potato chip bag that had been shredded sandwiched between. Looked like it had been in the water at least 2 weeks. I still have it hanging up on a wall board in my shop.

I caught a fat brown trout in the Gallatin River in Montana on a golden stone fly with a dry fly and about 2 feet of leader hanging out of his mouth. I took a picture but it did not come out very well. I wish I had a digital camera back then so I would have known to take a few more pics.

Sure did! This fish was caught on 4/26/2002 on the legs of the Tenneco, not the structure 100 yards to the north of it although he could have moved around... who knows....

Any divers remember loosing a tip there on this grouper?

His skin was regrown over the wound and we didn't find it until he hit the cleaning table and we noticed something hard in his head and pushed it out.

Seen ling swimming down the beach with lures in their mouths broke off. Sometimes they eat another lure. I have caught a ling with a live eel wrapped around his peck fin! He ate another eel! I at first thought it was my eel beside him hanging & started to throw a jig & rehook it. But realized it wasnt my eel on the outside.
