I have been going to Broxson's ever since moving here to Navarre. They are in the middle of putting in an indoor archery range there. Said they are getting more and more ammo. Soon to have guns and much more to come he said. Sounded like they were going to start carrying a lot of different items in the coming future much like outcast does now.
Nice friendly staff and gave me all the pointers I needed to go catch fish right around the area. |

That place went down hill, when Dewayne left. He took time with his customers and help you anyway he could. He was always good to me and my family, made me feel good to go in there. Hope Dewayne is doing well, heard he was working in Pensacola at a bait shop.

In my opinion if your business gets way more negative publicity (Half Hitch) than positive, you should really take a look in the mirror and self reflect a bit. Agree that once Dewayne left so did a lot of Half Hitch's business.

That was just out of the kindness of Dewayne's heart. He has no kids and he really enjoys doing for the kids that have no other means for Christmas. He is actually working at a shop in Orange Beach I think. I talk to him on the phone from time to time. Hated seeing him leave, but I couldn't have worked for the mgmt there either.

JRMcallister, you took the words right out of our mouth. I was going to say he was especially giving and super nice to our kids. That's what won our heart with him. This might sound funny, but he used to help us so much and take up time trying to learn us rednecks how to saltwater fish, we felt like we owed him more than just our business, so we would bring him shelled pecans from our trees and purple hull peas from our garden. If you happen to see or talk to him, tell him the Higgins family misses him very much and if he needs anything to get in touch.
