Greed is a terrible thing

Weekend off with the wife, head to Biloxi for a little R & R, the whole husband thing, dinner, dancing, lay by the pool, what ever she wanted. Well everything I touched Friday night turned to gold, won 400 at 3 card, 525 blackjack, 1,250 at craps(which I was rolling ,my personal best), hell even standing in the cashier line I gave my wife my chips to cash in (didn't want to wait) put 20 in a slot machine 2nd pull hit for 360, Dam!

, So I cash in 2,535. Wife says give me half to put upstairs in the safe, what am I 8 yrs old, I got this.

I knew I was going to turn that 2500 in 25,000, by 3 am it was gone all of it, plus some of mine that I brought.

Went upstairs with my tail between my legs. Needless to say she brow beat me the whole day,

Casinos know the power of human greed., Lesson learned until the next time.

I would have done the same thing. Don't worry, you'll get it back next time

Been there and done that. I can usually come up a good bit playing blackjack, but the problem is that I never stop at the right time.

gambling is tough.

you win and are up. then you feel like you want to win more. then you lose a bit of your stack and feel like you just want to make back what you just lost. and you end up losing more.

had a guy turn 33 into 2500 at the poker table. did not quit. ended up losing it all back. at the very least he could of cashed out and went to another table with less money and free rolled. but he didn't know when to quit

that being said, i am a wuss and bring only $50 with me on casino trips lol

The only attitude you can have at a casino is this. Until you walk out with it, its not yours. No matter how much you are up, if you give it all back, you only lost what you brought. Its the only way not to vomit!

i think the worst thing you can do is spend the night at a hotel with a casino downstairs. thats the biggest scam idea ever to have a casino and rooms in the same building. i can name 100 reasons its a bad idea but i'm sure you guys all understand why
