My dad lives on blackwater and says there is a guy out there all the time on one working the shallows and the docks.Seems to do pretty well with it.

I have no idea if he has a cooler mounted on it. Bungee straps?

Maybe instead of drilling in the cooler, you could save the drilling for attaching a rack to the craft that you could secure the cooler to? Just an idea. I've thought of getting a waverunner and fishing from it and think it would be pretty fun.

Found this pic on pwctoday.com which is a forum that I believe is out of Australia. Cool looking setup though.

Last summer I noticed several people trolling off of wave runners in the pass and off the beach.

Last June we were in south Florida tarpon fishing, everyday we saw the same person out on a Honda 3 seater tarpon fishing, he was carrying both a spinning rod and a fly rod, the last day we were out he had towed out a couple of kayakers. If I had my rathers, I would prefer to be on the wave runner.

Its do-able, all I saw holding anything on his was a bungee cord.

There is a company that makes a rack for the back of a ski that will hold a cooler and a couple of rods. It fastens to the d-ring on the back of the ski and rests on the rear corners. It's hard to explain without a picture, but a friend of mine has one and says it works great. I'll try to get the name of the company the makes it.

I've seena rack like BBRASHis talking about,I agree they are kinda hard to describe. They look like one of the small receiver hitch cooler/rod holders combos. I'm sure Breeze Fabricators can design and build you something. Call Tim 554-6172:toast

I've fished off my jetski hundreds of times. I live over on east bay and don't have a boat (yet!). When it's warm, I make the 3 mile run to garcon point bridge regularly. I usually troll along the bridge using a small diving plug. Have caught TONS of stuff this way: specks, reds, spanish, ladyfish, bluefish, a baby cobia, and a nice pompano. When the jacks invade the bays in the summertime, they cruise the flats where I live (beingclear water andsand bottom, it's really easy to spot a 20+ pound jack cruising by). I caught some last summer, and it was a blast!

Maby this summer I'll run over to the pass and troll for some kings :toast
