If you are planning on doing some fishing, and you are staying on or near Perdido Key, you might check with Gray's Bait & Tackle and get the skinny on what's biting and where. They are located in the Winn Dixie shopping center at Sorrento Road and Gulf Beach Highway - just across the Theo Baars Bridge (spans the Intracoastal Waterway) going to Pensacola. It's a small shop, but they have live and frozen bait,a pretty good selection oftackle, and everyone who works there is very friendly and willing to offer advice.

Enjoy your stay!

Triggers Resturant on Old Gulf Beach highway serves a trigger or grouper fish omlet for breakfast that is awesome.

You will never forget it.

There are also Dolphin Cruises availble around, and boat rentals in Orange Beach. Visit Tacky Jacks.Once in the area you can find the discount coupon rack and many commercial places. Those will give you ideas, as there is plenty to do. And of course, no one mentionedthis yet, and I am sure it is your plans, but do allow allot of beach time, early morning, sunsets, and night walks along the Gulf of Mexico.

Have a Great Vacation !!!!!!!

You've got to go to The Original Point Restaurant. It's where all the locals go. They've got the best royal reds (shrimp) and their mullet is always fresh. It's on Innerarity Point Road. Turn at the light by the Burger King.
