the best recipe i have seen posted on this board is as follows:

bleed immediately

filet out the blood lines

skin

cut into long strips

soak in milk 24 hours in the fridge

then soak in italian dressing 12 hours in the fridge

season with southern flavor

cook a lb of bacon in a cast iron skillet

place the strips in the bacon grease and cook at high temp

throw out the fish and eat the skillet.

Yeah, life is too short to eat boneheads. I have eaten it twice and it was ok at best after a LOT of prepping.

I dunno, I'd just rather eat something that isn't overly bloody and gross

Right before I cut him up and put him in the freezer for shark bait. I see now why they are good bait for sharks.
