Default Buyer beware...maybe

I am not going to give the name of the store because I have a feeling it will start an feud. But, with that being said;

I went to a sports store and purchased a reel for the surf and a Kayak. Got back to the house and noticed a price tag under the price tag on the reel. Both were regular (Non-sale price) tags. With one exception, the price tag underneath was 5 dollars cheaper. I understand the idea of checks and balances but I felt a little cheated. Oh well 5 bucks, who cares. Then I happen to go back to the store and noticed that they had another kayak like mine on display. Just one problem, mine did not come with a quick draw rod holder, which, just cost me $21+ S&H from Cabelas. All in all I lost over $30 dollars to this store. Let my loss be your gain when it comes to buying equipment.

I'd feel cheated. Talk to the manager and see if they will make it right for "Customer Satisfaction" maybe store credit? Something ...

Default Research

Research before purchase = happy customer. Prices come & go, i would have liked a $400.00 AR, but waited till the Obama franchise made their way into the white house and missed that boat. I bought a new Glock 19 two years ago, it was $509.00, now they are $489.00 for the same gen 3, I'm not looking for any "justice", be happy you got what you wanted, when you wanted it, at the price you wanted to pay.

Seriously?

I drove over 150 miles today to look at a car for my wife and was told it was in great shape and needed nothing only to find out it had 9,000 more miles then he said it did, the brakes were shot, the airbag light was on and it had several electrical glitches. After all that I think Im less upset then you are over $30.

Not upset at all. Just warning people to take a better look at merchandise before buying.
