Bogy Point Boat Launch

Does anybody know if or when the Bogy Point boat launch at Perdido Pass will be open?

I hope soon. idoling from cotton bayou to the pass is a pain. They've pulled up all the boom so they should atleast let us run to Tacky Jacks.
I was idoling through there Fri and ask the Marine Police when they were going to change it back and he just shruded his shoulders. I said "It's a long way to idol" and his reply was "I know, it's a ways"

I still remember the night Marine Patrol busted my brother for blasting through that idle zone. I was pacing his boat with mine,
'B Wid a 'tude', about a hundred yards behind him, when the blue lights lit him up. They wrote him up, but didn't bother with me, as I crawled past and found a place to wait for him.
Neither one of us has sped thru there since!

I went by there today, and it still appears to be closed for BP only. The bay looked great and we trolled for about 1 hour in the Gulf. I never thought it would look this good this soon! Only caught 1 2 lb blue fish, but it sure was nice to be back out on the Gulf.
