Exclamation Baby killed, man shot in Pensacola

A 19-month-old baby was shot and killed this afternoon and his uncle was hospitalized in critical condition following a shooting at Pensacola Village off Fairfield Drive in Pensacola.Pensacola Police Chief Chip Simmons said the baby was shot and killed shortly after 2 p.m.
"It's a terribly sad day in Pensacola when this happens," Simmons said.
Several people were in the apartment in Building O in the complex. They are being interviewed by police.
The baby, Tyquaris Moultrie, and his uncle, Vincent Dennis, 21, were inside the apartment when the shots were fired from outside.
Witnesses said as many as four young men ran from the scene following the shooting.
Simmons said there are multiple suspects.

terrible thing doesn't suprise me at all ever been there before? 500 e fairfield is not for the faint at heart.

my daughter posted this on Facebook , she is all freaked out, the corner stop & rob gets robed monthly cars get broke into, so she thinks if she moves to pace it will be safer then Pensacola,

im telling her she can run but cant hide from crime, you just need to be prepared not to become a victim if possible.

things will get a lot worse before they get better, i do believe this

Not much good come's out of places like that and a few other area's. They should lock the one up that was watching over the kid. As he is the one that put him in harm's way in the first place .

i don't think anything good is in places like that, was told by a city LEO they only go in with backup

damn, i just moved from Atlanta to get away from crap like this! can anyone tell me hat are the bad areas to stay away from in pensacola?

Have only been here for 2 weeks and not sure where alot of the crime takes place.

southwest is the worst imo. west of i110

pace is very nice compared to parts of pcola.

i keep my country butt out in baker hahaha

Its not hard to figure out what the bad area's are around p-cola. Just look at you will figure it out real quick. Good luck and welcome to the area.
