This is a totally false statement. Do the research online and you will see that for 50" and up, plasma is still the best bang for your buck. I have had a 50" inch Panasonic for 5 years now without any of the claims of burn-in. This may have been true 10 years ago, but today's Plasmas will last you at least 10 years.
