I would have to agree with you if you are talking about a no money league. But, FF is really a means of putting some money on football in a way that gives you a chance to win the cash based on more than just pure chance. Often times a teams season is based on mid season trades, IR moves and all sorts of other decisions. So, it's not just straight up gambling, you can actually have some input on how your team does. Make bad decision and kiss your $ goodbye.
