Default 1-26-08 report

Left Sherman cove around 0830, there was no one there, when I paid the ramp fees the lady said we were the 2nd boat there today. Anyway left the pass to about a 2 ft chop and overcast we went south about 30 miles and hit our spot whoever said snapper ar eshort supply weren't with us today almost every drop we were puliing up SOW snapper almost all of them over 10 lbs....unfortunately all over the side:reallycrying only one was a floater though! After catching some nice mingo and the head of a fat scamp (f&%king cudas) we decided to jig for AJ's we moved and nearly every drop at the next spot produced a short AJ no keepers but we did get a nice GAG on a butterfly jig. came back in to the north a little and had an awesome time pulling up all kinds of fish overall an awesome day we didn't want to leave cause the fish were biting when we left at dark. Bajafisherman has some pics so he will have to post em.... great day the ride back home was FLAT as apancake whoever goes ourt tomorrow should have a great ride.
