Default RE: Inshore and Offshore report

Brandon was an awesome host and guide for the trip over in some very, very clear water and unfamiliar territory. We had a great time on the water and he had his system of loading unloading and getting on the fish down to a fine science. Only those of us who yak fish (probably way too much) understand that when the host says I got it,to stand back and watch. He looked like a Swiss watch maker going at loading and unloading and had it down to a science. The detail oriented task that go with off shore rigging and fishing are foreign to me. I back up to a muddy spot off the road over in Jax and I'm gone in a matter of seconds. If I had to drag my yak with or without wheels through 200 yards of the most awesome white powdery sand in the state to go fishing I might not go as much. He had us on the fish in no time!! I was aggravating to a fault I'm sure, he wanted to stop navigating for seconds to rerig and I was up front goating him on to get me on spot first!!!! LOL. It is addicting and an awesome fishery!!

Yes what you said Tex, the pressure is definetly hotter than the steam you put a lobster in to put people you don't know and have never met before on fish but he handled it seamlessly. The first fish was within minutes of getting on the first spot(Brandon we'll talk about that picture, I can't believe you put that pic online, LOL) then a few minutes later I redeemed myself with a respectable snapper!! Oh yeh the part he left out was that I think the total fish count. Me=7 Brandon=4 and yeh since he put a pic of that one up I get to count it. LOL!!!!!

One more thing I was very very hesitant to go out in a tandem kayak but that Hobie Outfitter was impressive. Like Brandon said the weather got up and it got pretty darn rough the first day but it handled it like a champ!! Had a great time and can't wait to get back over that way!! Looking forward to it!! Tex we'll have to get your guys from over there together with Brandon, Kreg, and I and hit that off the hook all you can eat sushi place Brandon took me too!!!

Awesome time and enjoyed every minute of it!!!
