launched 17th at 11AM heading to garcon point and working our way back. Live shrimp and fresh dead were the bait of choice. Sheeps on the mind.
As planned. Find the redfish within a few minutes.. a few rat reds, small black drums in the mix.. Find some sheepshead.. never could entice a hot bite. Temp at 47 degrees and coffee colored water might have just a few things to do with it!
Around 1pm the current went completely slacked.. we headed to 3 mile in search for a better sheepshead bite.. gave it about 20 minutes of patience and decide to get out of the cold!
four sheepshead and one slot red..
Pretty good day.. cold running.. warm in the sun..
the boat: 13'9 Boston Whaler 1961 Hull with a 1997 Yamaha 25hp 2 stroke
Trav-man yanked him out of those pilings! the redfish was victimized with power pro!
I needed to join the action so I managed the biggest sheepshead of the day!
