Remove hose from intakeof filter. Use a jar or other suitable container. Remove coil wire. Have someone spin engine to see (and you can hear) if the pump is in fact working. Before I replaced anything I would jump the fuel pump to see if it will work,and use a test light to see if you in fact have voltage to the pump while the key is engaged. Perform test with the key in the run and start position.
