RE: Yak question.
I testedquite a fewbefore I bought mine and I would highly recommend doing that. The WS 160 SOS Marine was referring to was tippy to me, and I have a skinny butt. (It was extremely fast though.) The most stable that I tested was the OK Prowler Big Game. It seemed designed for a big guy. You sacrafice a little for speed with a wider yak, so I opted for a regular Prowler since I wasn't planning or gaining 100lbs or standing up in it.
I didn't test a Hobie because I have a bad knee and need the extra exercise for health reasons. Oh, and it was out of my budget...:doh
